Theaterworkshop begins
Bettina and Jürgen’s theaterworkshop has been running in the Center for the past three days. Everyday from 14:00 to 16:30 they work with young people from Tarrafal and Chão Bom. Various practices inspired by the well known ideas of Augusto Boal, enthuse the young people.
The theme of the planed performance at the end of the workshop is Alcohol. Much to the surprise of the two of them the youths chose this rather serious topic. Alcohol is really a serious problem in Tarrafal we more likely expected the youths would choose a funny topic. Well, we’ll see, maybe in the end we will have a comedy about alcohol.
