Delta Cultura is pleased to have found one more important cooperation partner. The Austrian members of the association were able to enlist the financial help of the City of Vienna for an professional training in the Child- and Youthcenter Tarrafal. Ten young mothers will receive professional training as wood turners. Delta Cultura was able to get a swiss trainer for this formation. During the training sessions the children of the trainees will be in care at the center. A psychologist from the ICCA (Capeverdean Institute for Children and Adolescentes) will be available for regular advisory service.
Delta Cultura Cabo Verde will look for woman from other communitys of the island of Santiago too. Like this it will be easier to reach the aim of getting all the 10 trainees a job after the one year of training.
