well, Christophe and me are now separated… certainly he will come in tarrafal with his new girlfriend !
and certainly I will come one day, on my own or with a new boyfriend…(not yet, I’m free and enjoy it !)

I’m an african american woman, now a grandmother. I’ve been living and servicing the community where ever I live similar to what you are doing. We have some of the same challenges here in the USA. Racism is very much alive here still. I’m back in college to study “Sustainable living” so I can learn and share skills with other women especially women of color. I just took a class in wood working and had a opportunity to do a little woodturning. I was googling woodturning that’s how I found your site. I started a non profit 2yrs ago to better serve the earth community. “Many Shades of Sisterhood” mission is about all the above. I returned to school as away to help stabilize my son and myself but also to be able to acquire tools, equipment etc MSOS will need to share with other women. finical aid and Student loans were the only way I saw. Getting grants or small business loans as a poor black woman on welfare wasn’t going to happen. I know I still have it way better in some ways than some of my sisters in other places and even here. If there is any way our organizations can partner on any thing please let me know. We don’t have alot but I trust in a power within that can make away out of no way, sometimes. We are having a Social Justice retreat in April, if you have any info you’d like us to present please send it to me. I don’t work like traditional organization or business work, I want to work with and how ever it works best for the everyday people. I hope we can keep in touch, I’m not very good on this computer but I will keep working at it as well,
