The Child- and Youthcenter Tarrafal
Delta Cultura has built the Center in 2005 on a territory that was allocated by the community of Tarrafal, with financial help of the German Ministry for Economical Development (BMZ) and the German association Arbeiter Samariter Bund (ASB).
The center consists of 8 buildings made by stone. All but the main building are one-storied and have flat roofs. The buildings surround a big courtyard with a stage. A football field makes part of the Center. The buildings host:
- Office (5 workstations)
- Computer room (10 Computers)
- Workshop
- Leisure room (used for workshops and trainings too)
- Carpenters workshop
- Classroom
- 2 storage rooms
- Shower / Wc
- Laundry
- Canteen
