Painting workshop
Being conscious about the importance of artistic activities for the development of creativity, imagination, self-confidence and many more, Delta Cultura has enlarged the offers of the Center in April 2009 by monthly painting-workshops.
The first workshop took place in November 2007 under the guidance of Claire Nicolas, a French artist.
After the visit of members of Delta Cultura Austria, Liz Zimmermann and Ariane Umathum, in April 2009, the painting workshops became regular.
With the 20 kg of paint and 400 paint-brushes they brought they organised a two day painting workshop and the children were thrilled. They painted on paper, stones and in the end the walls of the workshop-room.
Marisa from Delta Cultura Cabo Verde is now in charge of these workshops that happen monthly.
