Delta Cultura

We are a small association with big projects. We believe in the power of education as a basis for a better future. We advocate for people- and cultural exchange.

We understand education as an umbrella term for: creativity, free personality development, perception of happiness, communication, awareness for historicity, responsibility for oneself and others, ability for judgment and critique, ability for compromises and peace, general knowledge.
The name Delta Cultura stands for three independent associations. Delta Cultura in Cape Verde, Austria and Germany.

Delta Cultura Cabo Verde is the carrier association of the Child- and Youthcenter Tarrafal and is in charge of conception, managing and realization of the projects in the Center.
Delta Cultura in Austria and Germany supports the work of Delta Cultura in Cape Verde.

Our drive is the fight against the unequal distribution of prosperity and opportunities and the declaration of these circumstances to the norm.

We do not want to spread, support or force upon ways of life, ideologies, dogmas, religions, substitute religions or economic systems with our work. We want to help people to be able to make their own decisions.
