The current main partners:

  • Football for Hope: The Football for Hope Movement is the key element of the strategic alliance between FIFA and streetfootballworld. The movement aims to utilize the role of football in society in order to contribute to the achievement of the UN Millennium Development Goals.
    Within the framework of the Football for Hope Movement, Delta Cultura Cabo Verde has been provided with financial support by FIFA for its meritorious contribution to the field of /Social Development through Football/. This support and recognition in the framework of the Football for Hope Movement represent a distinction for innovative and sustainable social and human development programmes working with football as the central tool in the areas of Health Promotion, Peace Building, Anti-Discrimination & Social Integration, Children’s Rights & Education, as well as the /Environment.
  • Streetfootballworld
    Since existence of this internet platform Delta Cultura is part of the network. Delta Cultura and mainly the football school owe a lot to the fast development of streetfootballworld and their partnership with FIFA.
  • GoodshirtThis T-Shirt Label, created by the chairwoman of Delta Cultura Austria, Liz Zimmermann,
    promotes the projects in Cape Verde for years reliably and regularly by proceeds from shirt sales.
  • Impar
    The Capeverdean insurance company supports regularly with various insurance such as travel insurance for the  youth exchange with Austria, and theft and fire insurance for the child and youth center.
  • Community of Tarrafal
    has provided the land where the Child- and Youthcenter is located free of charge and thus made the beginning of this project possible. Today the Community supports regularly with various sports- and cultural activities.
  • Tanztheater Global
    In November 2009 they will give a three-week dance workshop under direction of this internationally  renowned dance group in Tarrafal. The group around Be van Vark received means for this from the Foreign Office Project Action for Africa 2009.

  • Midgard tiles
    Since the construction of the Child- and Youthcenter DeltaCultura co-operates with the the ceramic(s) specialists of tile production Midgard tiles, Maria Kosareva and Martin Kunze. Thanks to their efforts parts of the floors of the Center are made of Terracotta tiles and Delta Cultura was able to develop the tile production since the beginning of 2008.
  • Marmara / Rupert Helm
    For many years involved on cordial terms with Cape Verde and Delta Cultura.  Helps out regularly with advice and deeds.
  • Literalazul
    Ricardo Correia is long term adept of the project and has visited it personally. He is responsible for all the translations that Delta Cultura needs from German into Portuguese and vice versa. In the first place for this internet page.
    Ricardo Correia is a connoisseur of many years of the project, was already personally  in Tarrafal. He is mainly responsible for nearly all translations that  Delta Cultura needs from German in Portuguese an vice versa. For example this internet site.
  • Africahelp.org
    A platform of supporters of small organizations who help directly in Africa. They build schools, help small businesses and carry out cultural exchange. Delta Cultura is supported by Africa Help. Thank you!
  • Schikaneder
    Schikaneder and Topkino Vienna. The cultural places from Johannes Wegenstein (brother of project manager Florian) support Delta Cultura in Austria and the projects in Cape Verde regularly. There also was a cooperation for the first edition (2008) of the human rights film festival Thishumanworld.

Institutions, organisation, sponsors, individuals who supported in the past:

  • Transferprojekte RD
    Ingrid und Christian Reder have supported the Child- and Youthcenter financially and as mentors mainly in the difficult first years of its existence.
  • BMZ
    was the big financier for the construction and first one and a half years of operation of the Child- and Youthcenter. They supported with 75% of the overall amount needed.
  • ASB
    Thanks to the German Arbeitersamariter Bund and within this organisation mainly the dear Katrin Blume, the project Child- and Youthcenter has found his way from the paper to reality. Together with Delta Cultura she developed the project and applied at the German ministry for financial support.
  • Thurit Kremer
    Thurit Kremer has directed a cartoon workshop at the very beginning of the activities of Delta Cultura in Cape Verde.
  • Vista Verde
    The German association around the architect of the Center, Frank Mössinger, has supported during the construction phase.
  • bd sport active
    The Swiss association has supported the football school in the first years of existence with material and also courses to train the trainers.
