About me: I was born and grew up in Berlin. I also graduated there from school in 2004. In 2005 I moved to Bonn because I wanted to start studying Antropology, Geography and Portuguese. In the time from January to April 2009 I was an intern at Delta Cultura. I will probably finish my studies during the next year. Because of the great experience I had during my job at Delta Cultura in Cape Verde I had the idea of founding the association in Germany.
Furthermore my hobbies are traveling and getting to know foreign cultures and languages. In my near future I would like to work for the development cooperation on an international basis.
About Delta Cultura: Because of my studies in Portuguese I also heard about the Cape Verde and due to that I decided to spend some time there abroad. I chose to do an internship for some months. I definitely wanted to engage myself in a social project and so I found Delta Cultura on the internet. At that point I had already been convinced of the aims and projects of Delta Cultura.
Arriving Tarrafal, I really enjoyed working with the children and teenagers. My time in Cape Verde has been an unique experience. Delta Cultura grew really important to me, so that I am happy to be able to represent and support the association in Germany.
